Hi There!

My name is Connor DeMeyer, and I’m a freelance Motion Designer and Visualization Artist.

I’d love to make something amazing with you, so take a look at my work and let me know if you’re interested!

The Process

Let’s talk about how to request a quote and what to expect.

+ Motion Graphics

1) Cost and Scheduling

For Motion Graphics work, I prefer project rates to keep things simple for myself and my clients. Otherwise, it is $700/day. Know that if you opt for a project rate, I’ll include a discount for the conveniece.

1) Let’s start a conversation

When you request a quote, you are directed to a form which asks questions that'll help me understand your needs. If you don’t feel like doing that, just shoot me an email and we can go from there!

3) Initial phone call

After reviewing your needs, I’ll follow up with an email or phone call, usually within one business day. We’ll discuss your project and I’ll be able to give you an idea of cost and timeline prior to emailing you a formal quote.

4) Formal quote

I’ll prepare a formal proposal/quote based on our conversation, as well as a deposit invoice for the discussed estimate. The deposit is 50% (Check, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard...) and it'll secure you a spot on my schedule.

5) Information overload

After the deposit is made, it’s time to get started! Throw any kind of information you have at me. Color palletes, reference imagery, old graphics, client comments, etc. I'll need as much information as you have.

6) Project Begins

My process is as follows: pencil sketch storyboards > style frames > storyboards > storyboard revisions x2 > animation > animation revisions x2 > final product delivery.

7) Invoicing

After tweaks have been made and you’re happy with your animation, we’re done! At this point, I'll initiate the final invoice. This will need to be paid within 30 days of final delivery, after which late fees will apply.

+ Architectual Renderings

1) Cost and Scheduling

My architectural visualization rate is based on the number of images. Each image is scoped individually, and the cost per image will vary based on complexity. I do this to benefit my clients. You’ll know exactly how much each image will be, and revisions are free up to two revisions. After that, i’ll switch to an hourly rate.

2) Let’s start a conversation

When you request a quote, you are directed to a form which asks questions that'll help me understand your needs. If you don’t feel like doing that, just shoot me an email and we can go from there!

3) Initial phone call

After reviewing your needs, I’ll follow up with an email or phone call, usually within one business day. We’ll discuss your project and I’ll be able to give you an idea of cost and timeline prior to emailing you a formal quote.

4) Formal quote

I’ll prepare a formal proposal/quote based on our conversation, as well as a deposit invoice for the approved estimate. The deposit is 50% (Check, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard...) and it'll secure you a spot on my schedule.

5) Information overload

After the deposit is made, it’s time to get started! Throw any kind of information you have at me; CAD drawings, building information, 3d models, location and surroundings, colors and materials. I'll need as much information as you have.

6) Grayscale Model

After receiving information on the project, I’ll begin working on the model. Within a few days, I'll email you a gray scale proof which will need to be approved for its accuracy. After that, I’ll begin adding the color, environment and materials.

7) Color Draft

A fully rendered, low resolution first draft will be sent out for markups and corrections 1-2 days after sending the grayscale model. The purpose is to check materials and colors for accuracy. This is not part of final delivery.

8) Final Product & Revisions

After any color corrections have been addressed, it’s time to create the final, high-resolution image. Two revisions are included, after which I’ll switch to an hourly rate of $70/hr.

9) Invoicing

After tweaks have been made and you’re happy with your images, we’re done! At this point, I'll initiate the final invoice. This will need to be paid within 30 days of final delivery, after which late fees will apply.

+ Photo Editing

1) Cost and Scheduling

My photo editing rates are based on an hourly rate of $25/hr.

2) Let’s start a conversation

When you request a quote, you are directed to a form which asks questions that'll help me understand your needs. If you don’t feel like doing that, just shoot me an email and we can go from there!

3) Initial phone call & initial quote

After reviewing your needs, I’ll follow up with an email or phone call, usually within one business day, that will give you an idea of how many hours I think the job will take along with associated cost estimates.

4) Formal quote

I’ll prepare a formal proposal/quote based on our conversation. Timeline can vary depending on how many images there are and how complicated the edits are, so please keep that in mind.

5) Information overload

It’s time to get started! The images, as well as any reference imagery, can be sent to me over email, WeTransfer or Dropbox.

6) Final Product & Revisions

After receiving and editing the images, I’ll send them back all at once. If there are additional edits to be made, those will be done in batches as well.

7) Invoicing

After tweaks have been made and you’re happy with your photos, we’re done! At this point, I'll initiate the final invoice. This will need to be paid within 30 days of final delivery, after which late fees will apply.
